After more than a year of planning, building, and anticipation, we are thrilled to announce that our 43 Mercer Street Social Supermarket has officially opened.
More than a place to access food, Mercer Street brings together choice based food support and education, with a purpose built kitchen that will host our free Cooking Programs and food literacy initiatives for agency partners and their clients.
The Mercer Street Social Supermarket is a larger, better equipped space, designed to increase capacity, improve food choice, and strengthen long term food security through skills, confidence, and connection.

Monday: 10am–7pm
Tuesday: 10am–3pm
Wednesday: 10am–7pm
Thursday: 10am–3pm
Friday: 10am–3pm
We are really excited to be able to be open across our two sites until 7pm for four nights a week and on Saturday at Morgan Street.
Our Social Supermarkets are transformational, not transactional. Access is via partner agencies, ensuring people receive the right support alongside dignified, choice based food access.
