Geelong Foodshare’s trucks are on the move every day, delivering food across Greater Geelong and beyond. Recently, our fleet received a fresh new look, thanks to the team at Signs t’Go.
Powered by Community Support
One of the standouts in our fleet is our six-pallet truck, proudly funded by the Anthony Costa Foundation. Pictured with the truck is Sarah, our Lead Driver, as she heads off to Colac and beyond to deliver rescued and donated food to our agency partners.
This truck plays an essential role in keeping food moving across the region. Every kilometre travelled means more meals, more full pantries, and fewer people going without.
Driving Towards a Sustainable Future
We’ve also introduced something new to our fleet: a zero-emissions electric truck. This is a major step forward in our commitment to a more sustainable future. As demand for food relief continues to grow, we are determined to meet those needs without adding to the environmental pressures facing our planet.
Our electric truck reduces carbon emissions, lowers running costs, and sets an example of how community organisations can lead the way in sustainability. For us, it’s not just about feeding people today, but about strengthening local food systems, building community resilience, and support lasting change.

Why it matters
Every week, our trucks connect food donors, our warehouse, and more than 70 partner agencies. They keep healthy food flowing through the community, ensuring we can support more than 20,000 people with reliable access to food.
With updated branding and sustainable technology, our fleet reflects both where we are today and where we’re heading: a food-secure Geelong region built on strong partnerships and resilient communities.
