How it works

What our volunteers say
Farah has been a dedicated volunteer at Geelong Foodshare for the past three years. After moving from Iraq to Australia five years ago, she sought opportunities to improve her English and connect with her new community.
At Geelong Foodshare, she discovered a warm, supportive environment where the kindness of others made her feel at home. Volunteering has strengthened her language skills and given her a true sense of belonging.
